Props for 'Annabelle' Recommended in the Telegraph by Helen Yemm - Thorny Problems This lovely hydrangea, one that you can prune in spring, then producing huge and beautiful heads of tiny florets on metre-high slim and wind-vulnerable stems, is a tricky one to site. I grow mine slotted between other stout shrubs, which does provide it with a bit of borrowed backbone. Alas. However I prune it, it needs support as well, so I use good-looking “plant girdles” recommended by the savvy people at Plant Supports (www.plantsupports.co.uk) specifically for Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’. Thorny problems    This is a taller version of our A0091. 43cm across from leg to leg standing 1.2m tall, Great for the large Annabelle Hydrangeas. You can use the pack of 2 to make a circle or scallop them or use singly. Registered Design No 4018629
